b2b Buyer Workforce Timesheet Entry Process

Procedure for Reporting Your Hours

An approved online time sheet must be turned in before your paycheck can be processed. Time sheets should be submitted online weekly for approval by your supervisor. Only enter hours that you actually work. If you take vacation/personal time, a sick day or miss work for any other reason, please do not enter hours for that time.

TAC Transportation pays on a weekly cycle each Friday. Your online time sheet must be submitted and approved before the close of business on Tuesday to have your paycheck available on Friday. We cannot guarantee paycheck availability on Friday for late or incorrect timesheets.

If you do not have access to the online timesheet system, please contact your Human Resource Representative or Payroll Administrator.

b2b Buyer Workforce Timesheet Entry Process

A CDS ID and Password (Outlook User ID and password) is required to access b2b Buyer Workforce to enter your timesheet.  If you do not have a CDS ID and Password, please contact your Supervisor. First time login only: A User Profile screen is displayed. Enter all required fields indicated with asterisk.

Timesheet Submission Process

  1. Go to Ford Intranet and type in the b2b Buyer Workforce web address issued via your agency.
  2. Enter your CDS ID and password.
  3. Select Timesheets tab.
  4. First time login only: Candidate information screen is displayed. Enter: Last Name and File ID or Last Name and Unique Identifier (SS#).
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Click "Enter Timesheet" tab from main menu. Timesheet Completion List screen will display your timesheet for the current week ending date and status type (i.e. Current/Missing/Revised/Rejected).
  7. Click on current week ending date to access your timesheet.

Quick Fill Option

  1. Click on Quick Fill button to automatically populate timesheet for standard workweek (Mon to Fri) with: Day/Date, Time In/Time Out, Break Time, Hours/Minutes, Shift and Type.
  2. Break time will default to 1.00 and will need to be amended manually.
  3. Manually amend Type if anything other than billable.
  4. If more lines are needed, click on the Save button.
  5. Click on Summarize & Submit button to submit your timesheet.
  6. A timesheet summarization screen will be displayed. Carefully review timesheet for accuracy. Click Submit for Approval button. You will receive a Timesheet Submission Confirmation.

Manual Timesheet Entry Option

Click down arrow to select day of week from dropdown menu.

  1. Enter your daily total hours worked in the Hours/Minutes field. The Time In and Time Out fields are a requirement only at the discretion of the Supervisor. If utilized, using a 12-hour clock format of HH:MM enter Time In and Time Out. Note: Time In and Time Out can be submitted in exact time and will be paid in exact time according to Ford.
  2. Break Time details may be entered but are not required (e.g. :45 for 45 minutes).
  3. Click down arrow to select shift data from dropdown menu.
  4. Click down arrow to select type of hours worked from dropdown menu field on the Timesheet Submittal Screen.
  5. After all hours have been entered for the week; click the Save button to record and save all entries.
  6. Click on Summarize & Submit to submit your timesheet.
  7. A timesheet summarization screen will be displayed. Carefully review timesheet for accuracy. Click Submit for Approval button.
  8. A dialog box will be displayed asking if you are sure you want to submit the timesheet.
  9. Once submitted, you will receive a Timesheet Submission Confirmation.

Note: A zero hour timesheet must be completed for holiday/sickness periods.

Timesheet Rejection by Supervisor

If a timesheet is rejected by the supervisor, the Rejected Timesheet will appear on your Enter Timesheet page in Rejected status with the reason for the rejection at the top of page. You will need to amend the timesheet accordingly and resubmit.

View Archived Timesheets

  1. Select Timesheets from main menu.
  2. Select View Archived Timesheets tab.
  3. Enter week ending date, PO number or status type and click Submit button. Archived Timesheets screen will display a list of your archived timesheets.
  4. To view Archive timesheet, click on week ending date. Timesheet Summarization screen will display a summary of your timesheet.

Feedback Process

  1. There are two ways to submit a Feedback. Call Customer Service at 248-829-6520 or, when possible, use the online Feedback form.
  2. To submit a Feedback online, click on Contact Us located on the left side of each b2b Buyer Workforce webpage.
  3. Complete the Feedback form and click Submit. The feedback is routed to the appropriate area for review. You will be contacted no later than the next business day.
